Mission and Vision

In Christ daily, through the Holy Spirit, we give our lives to Worship God, Encourage each other, and Serve those in need, so, that we may make disciples for Jesus.

Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). With these words Jesus cast His disciple-making vision. We continue in this vision as followers of Jesus Christ at Hager Park Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, giving our lives to love God so that hearts are won and lives are forever changed for the glory of God.

We see followers of Jesus, of all ages, on a lifelong journey of obedience to God’s will, investing daily to grow and develop their personal relationship with their Savior and Lord. We see a church where members hold each other accountable for personal spiritual growth by graciously helping one another toward intentional spiritual practices including studying scripture and prayer. We see a church, passionate about explaining, especially to children, the Bible and its story of God’s love for us.

At Hager Park Church, we see followers of Jesus eager to praise and glorify the Lord. We see God’s children dedicated to gathering in celebration of God with whole-hearted singing, praying, and giving. We see a church where the Word of God is faithfully proclaimed and every worshipper is fully alive to experience the presence of God.

We see a welcoming environment where followers of Jesus belong to, care for, and are blessed by one another. We see a church where life-long friendships are formed. We see Hager Park Church as a unified, loving body always building up and encouraging one another. We see a fellowship which is characterized by joy, authenticity, and grace.

We see a church that loves people who God loves. We see followers of Jesus at Hager Park Church reaching out to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of others and to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him. We see servants that recognize God at work in our neighborhoods and throughout the world and eagerly join with Him to share love, compassion, and hope in Jesus’ Name.
