Seven years ago I accepted a call to Hager Park to work in the areas of Small Groups, Education and Discipleship. In 2007 Hager Park called me to be their Lead Pastor. My wife Linda and I have found HPC to be an accepting and loving congregation. God has assembled together an awesome team of talented and gifted people at Hager Park and we have been blessed to be here.

Hobbies:

When I have the opportunity, I enjoy exploring new places, playing the guitar, reading, bird watching, and photography.

Favorite Restaurant:

Any place that serves a good lasagna. My favorite fun place is “Coldstone”.

What do you watch on TV that nobody would guess you watch:

Maybe folks don’t know that the only TV programs I check into are sports, news and HGTV. I’d love to have a TV satellite package that would be tailored to just that.

I have been on staff at Hager Park for over 5 years and enjoy the variety of ministries that I serve in.

My husband Gary and I have been married for 21 years. We have two sons – Ross, 18 and Adam, 15. We have been members of Hager Park Church for about 11 years.

Hobbies:

I love… shopping, vacations, playing games, reading, Bible Study, Small Group, and just hanging out with family and friends.

Favorite Restaurant:

Pereddies, Fricano’s Pizza, Carrabba’s, Vitale's, On-the-Border, Logan’s, Vitale's & McDonald’s.

Favorite beverage: Diet Coke :) & coffee

What do you watch on TV:

I love HGTV! I also like Blue Bloods.

I have been a Ministry Assistant at Hager Park for the past 20 years. I am married to Rich and we have two adult children. Our daughter Allison, lives in Richland and works in Kalamazoo and our son Dirk is newly graduated from Alma College and lives in Allendale and is doing an internship at a local church. I have a passion for seeing people grow in their faith and daily walk with Christ. I am blessed because my work at Hager Park gives me an environment that allows me the opportunity to witness this firsthand.

Hobbies

Reading, Movie Nights, Bible Study, Eating Out. I love having friends over to hang out and share food and fellowship.

I accepted the position of Worship Director at Hager Park Church in April 2012 and I am thrilled to be here. Above all else, my vision as Worship Director is to encourage the congregation of HPC to worship God and grow spiritually in Christ in every opportunity possible. My wife, Lori, and I relocated to Grand Rapids in 2011 with our cat, Pemberley, to be closer to family and reunite with the Midwest. It's a blessing to join a congregation that loves serving Christ and growing daily in his purpose for our lives.

Hobbies:

Going to the thrift store, spending time with friends/family, sports, collecting records, hanging out with my wife.

Electric Cheetah or anywhere that has great pizza

I was called to be the Director of youth ministries in October 2012. As the director I have had the opportunity to see God at work in students lives and it is truly a blessing to me and my family! I'm married to my amazing wife Stacy who makes me a better person and has been a huge part of my spiritual journey! We have two girls Olivia the runner and basketball star and Reagan our dancer and LEGO master!

Hobbies:

Fishing, hiking, sports, (especially football), spending time in God's creation and anything that involves spending time with my girls!
